TERMS OF TRADE- TRIBBO ApS

PLEASE NOTE


Your TRIBBO electric cargo bike must have a mandatory service inspection within 2 months of purchase.


The service inspection can be carried out at our dealers or service centers, or you can have a local bicycle mechanic to perform the service.


The warranty does not apply if your TRIBBO electric cargo bike has not received this 2nd month service check. A receipt must be presented.


If you bring the cargo bike to our service center at Vævergangen 18D, 2690 Karlslunde, the service check is free of charge. If you use a local service center or dealer, the service check is at your expense.


This service check is not includede in the price of the bike.


NOTEWhen buying a TRIBBO bike or service from one of our dealers or service centers, it is the dealer's or service center's rules that apply.

  • B2B - Invoice is sent by mail. Payment net 14 days, unless otherwise agreed.

All our products are CE approved.

SHIPMENT


All costs related to the delivery of a product,  are paid by the customer unless otherwise agreed.


All our products are shipped with a freight company. The freight company is responsible for ensuring that the product is delivered intact and undamaged and within the promised delivery time.


TRIBBO ApS reserves the right to choose which company and form of freight to use.

ERRORS & OMISSIONS


In case of any defects in a product supplied by TRIBBO, TRIBBO is obliged to rectify any errors. 

This obligation does not apply in case the product has been damaged after leaving TRIBBO and during transport and delivery.

BUYING A PRODUCT OR SERVICE FROM TRIBBO


When purchasing a product or service from TRIBBO, you must agree to our terms for trading with TRIBBO ApS.


Therefore, be aware of our rules described in the section Information here on the website. We advise you to pay attention to all the information regarding warranty, terms of trade etc. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us right away. 

CHILDREN'S SEAT - RESPONSIBILLITY


The user of the cargo bike carries sole responsibility for all children to be safely secured with seat belts.

Further, it is the user's responsibility that the child seat is mounted correctly according to instructions carried out by the dealer.


DO NOT drive the cargo bike unless the children or other cargo are securely fastened. 

COMPLAINT REGARDING A PRODUCT


It is the buyer's responsibility to check the product upon delivery and contact TRIBBO for any errors or omissions.

Any errors or omissions, must be informed to TRIBBO within 2 days after delivery.  


Buyer can not later on claim any errors or omissions, which should have been identified at delivery and within 2 days.

Any complaints regarding errors and omissions, must be sent immediately as a written complaint to info@tribbo.dk within 2 days after delivery.


This complaint must contain a statement of any. faults and or defects for which TRIBBO ApS can be held responsible.

TRIBBO ApS is required to inspect the product before deciding whether TRIBBO can be held liable of any errors and or defects.

If the buyer does not comply with the stipulated rules in this provision, the buyer are not entitled to any kind of compensation.


According to the law, 2 years of warranty is given on all products that are maintained in accordance with our regulations, see under maintenance.

Also pay attention to the rules on how to maintain an electric bicycle battery

All warranty claims will lapse if the battery is not maintained in accordance with our references.


If you change or repair parts or products, your warranty on the part or product will lapse


If, within the first 6 months, errors or defects arise in the purchased product, there is a presumption that the defect was present at the time of delivery  – known as the "rule of presumption”.

As a starting point, in this case, it is the dealer's/our responsibility to rectify faults or defects at dealer's/our expense.

However, the rule of presumption will lapse if you as the consumer, have not maintained the product according to our regulations


  • 0-6 months: rule of presumption applies. 
  • 6-24 months: the consumer must prove, that the fault complained about, was present at the time of delivery.

COMPLAINT REGARDING A SERVICE


TRIBBO cannot be held responsible for a broken brake cable, a sudden defective brake or dirt in a brake that causes the bike to pull

During service or repairs we cannot observe a brake cable being flossed inside the outer cable. As with the hydraulic brakes, no pressure testing of the system is performed.

We cannot foresee a sudden defective hydraulic brake.

However, we will generally be able to see a leak in the hoses. As we cannot predict or prevent a jammed tire, hose, cable, chain or other, TRIBBO ApS cannot be held responsible for this happening.


The buyer is obliged to carry out an investigation of the service that has been given at the time of delivery. The buyer is obliged to immediately report a complaint in case of any faults or defects.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL


We offer exchange or a refund within 14 days from pruchase, if the item is returned to us in unused condition and in original unbroken packaging.

We do not offer exchange or refund on costum made items.

You have 14 days to notify us any regret of your purchase and 14 days to send it back to us.


NOTEIf the cargo bike is purchased from one of our dealers, it is the dealer's rules that apply. Contact your dealer.

Driving a TRIBBO bike and responsibility! 


TRIBBO ApS cannot be held responsible for how driving the bike is carried out, whether the bike is purchased, rented or lend.

It is solely the user's responsibility to ensure before use, that the cargo bike brakes safely and properly.

It is solely the customer's / user's responsibility to be familiar with the rules of the Road Traffic Act for driving a cargo bike, and that lights, reflectors, ring bells etc. works according to the rules.
